Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 5G was rumored to launch in the UNPACKED event of Samsung on the August 5 event. Now the Official twitter account of Samsung Mobile has finally shared a video where it indicates the launch of a new Fold device and we expect it to be the new Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 5G.
From this video, Samsung has already confirmed indirectly that they are introducing a new colour for their gadgets and it is named Mystic Bronze.
We have seen a lot of reports recently which claimed the specifications and launch of the Galaxy Fold 2. According to Ross Young, the Founder, and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will come with a 7.59-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. He mentioned the resolution of its display to be of 2213 x 1689 which is an FHD+ display. There is no information about any AMOLED display but the company will surely add in the device. He has not disclosed any other information about this device.
Samsung is expected to have a loaded Unpacked event, featuring the Galaxy Note 20 series with three phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the Galaxy Buds Live, and a pair of Galaxy Tab S7 models. Though all the launch details are not official, we think these are the list of devices Samsung will launch in the event.
Here is another piece of information from Ice universe claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will launch on August 5 but instead of early October shipment it will be sold on September 20 in China. According to Ross Young, the phone will be shipped in early October so this can be the dates for the global shipment but the case for the Chinese market seems to be different.
