In India, the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G debuted as the newest addition to the F-series lineup on Monday, March 4. With its 90Hz AMOLED screen the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Available in three colors it comes equipped with a generous battery that promises up to 48 hours of usage. Interestingly the Galaxy F15 5G seems to be a revamped version of the Galaxy A15 5G that was launched in India in December.

The starting price is set at ₹12,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage while the variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at ₹14,499. You can choose from Ash Black, Groovy Violet, and Jazzy Green color options. It’s currently available for purchase on Flipkart and Samsung India’s website with a sale starting at 7:00 pm IST.
In contrast, when the Galaxy A15 5G made its debut in December it came with a price tag of ₹19,499 for the variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Powered by Android-based One UI 5 and supporting SIM (Nano) the Galaxy F15 5G promises support with up to five years of security updates and four years of OS upgrades. Featuring an HD+ Super AMOLED display measuring 6.5 inches with a smooth refresh rate of 90Hz and a centrally placed waterdrop style notch; it houses the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset along with up to 6GB of RAM.
The camera setup is impressive featuring a 50-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter, on the back. On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with 128GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi support for 02.11a/b/g/n/ac standards Bluetooth version 5.3 GPS, a headphone jack, and a USB Type C port.
The sensor suite comprises an accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and virtual proximity sensor, alongside a fingerprint sensor for authentication. The Galaxy F15 5G houses a substantial 6,000mAh battery, promising two days of battery life and up to 25 hours of video playback on a single charge. Measuring 160.1×76.8×8.4mm and weighing 217 grams, it packs quite a punch in terms of features and endurance.
