The Samsung Galaxy C55 debuted in China on Monday, April 23. This latest addition to the Galaxy C series is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and showcases an AMOLED Plus display with a hole punch design. Its standout features include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging. Featuring a distinctive leather back panel, the Galaxy C55 shares similarities with the Galaxy M55 in terms of specifications but flaunts a refreshed aesthetic.

The Samsung Galaxy C55 is priced at ¥1,999 which is about ₹23,000 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and the 12GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at ¥2,299 which is roughly ₹26,000. This handset which is available in Black and Orange versions with a leather finish is likely to remain limited to the Chinese market. The Samsung Galaxy C55 features dual SIM (Nano), Android 14, and a 6.7 inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus screen with a 120hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and has up to 12GB of RAM with up to 1TB.

As far as cameras are concerned, the Galaxy C55 has a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary is a 50-megapixel primary shooting system with OIS, and it also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter as well as a 2-megapixel macro shooter. With a 50-megapixel sensor on the front, selfie enthusiasts rejoice.

The C55 has 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone’s speakers are also supported by Dolby Atmos technology, and it includes a plethora of sensors as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device is secure, powered by Samsung’s Knox Vault. The Samsung Galaxy C55’s dimensions are 163.9×76.5×7.8mm, and it weighs 180 grams.
