Samsung announces its new Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 powered by Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 Processor

Samsung said today that its newest laptop, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, will be available in South Korean markets in January of next year. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro’s 360-degree hinge allows it to be used as a laptop or tablet. In addition, Qualcomm parts and technologies, such as processors, graphics processing units, and Wi-Fi connection technology, are used in the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360.

The laptop boasts a Super AMOLED display, a 33.7-centimeter touch screen, is 11.5 mm thick, and weighs 1.04 kg, all of which contribute to its portability. Because of its 360-degree hinge, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro can be used as both a laptop and a tablet.

Qualcomm’s newest CPU, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 Compute Platform, powers the laptop. It enhances system-level performance by up to 57% and multitasking by up to 85% when compared to the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro includes a Qualcomm Adreno GPU that is up to 60% more powerful than the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2, allowing for improved visuals and faster premium processing performance.

Qualcomm’s FastConnect 6900 system technology was used for connectivity to guarantee a speedy and seamless connection to Wi-Fi 6E, a technological standard that expanded Wi-Fi 6’s reach.

It also has improved security features in order to meet the requirements of Microsoft’s Secured-Core PC enterprise security solution in Windows 11.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 with Snapdragon 8cx 3rd generation processor is available in Graphite and costs 1.89 million won (about US$ 1490 / Rs. 1,23,585). It will be available for purchase in South Korea beginning January 16, 2023.
