Samsung Galaxy A56 Spotted on TENAA: Redesigned Camera Bar, Exynos 1580, and 45W Charging

The Galaxy A56 has a new design that moves away from its predecessor with its rear cameras in separate housings. It employs a different camera setup in a raised camera bar, housing a wide, ultrawide, and macro lens. It looks similar to the rear camera array of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, with the LED flash on the right. The front of the phone keeps the curved edges, narrow bezels, and punch-hole selfie cam of the Galaxy A55, although a closer look shows some subtle differences.

It brings flat sides all around, with a pronounced raised “Key Island” on the top-right edge. The TENAA listing does not go into great detail about specs but does confirm a 5,000mAh battery and a quad-camera setup with three on the back and one on the front. Previous leaks hint at the Galaxy A56 employing the Exynos 1580 chip. Geekbench results for the phone show scores of 1,341 (single-core) and 3,836 (multi-core). It will run Android 15 out of the box and offer storage configurations of 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.

The rear camera system is expected to remain unchanged, featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. However, the front camera could see a downgrade to 12MP from the 32MP sensor on the Galaxy A55. The display will feature an FHD+ 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED panel. Additionally, the phone’s 5,000mAh battery is rumored to support 45W fast charging, a notable upgrade from the 25W charging of its predecessor.
