Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy A36 5G as a successor to last year’s Galaxy A35 5G. Ahead of its official debut, the device has reportedly shown up on Samsung’s UAE support page, indicating that the announcement could be right around the corner.

Moreover, the smartphone also made an appearance on the Global Certification Forum (GCF) webpage, confirming its existence. The listing also disclosed model numbers linked to the handset, which is believed to have a Snapdragon chipset and support for 45W fast charging.

A Samsung device with the model number SM-A366B/DS, which is most likely the Galaxy A36 5G, was spotted on the support part of Samsung’s UAE website. According to a report from MySmartPrice, both SM-A366B/DS and SM-A366B variants have surfaced on the GCF website. The model number’s “B” suffix suggests it’s a global version of the device.

The Galaxy A36 5G will come with some upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A35 5G. A previous Geekbench listing suggested that the device will run on Android 15 and pack an octa-core processor as well as 6GB of RAM 6GB and Adreno 610 GPU. The device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Moreover, it is said to come with 45W rapid charging support.

It comes with 8GB of RAM and a triple-camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, the phone features a 13-megapixel front camera. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
