Samsung Galaxy A16 is expected to launch soon, it will be the successor of the Galaxy A15. The device has been listed on the BIS certification website and IMEI database, hinting at its launch soon along with a UK carrier EE’s listing. According to the listing, the motherboard of Galaxy A16 has a codenamed ‘a16xm’ with a chipset going by six cores at 2GHz and two cores at 2.40GHz which is probably MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Chipset Those results translate to a single-core test score of 512 and multi-score figure of 1,464. It will also be equipped with 6GB RAM and shall boot Android OS version 14.
Other certifications corroborate the Galaxy A16’s existence, but they reveal little else. It is expected to come with a 4G and the other version will also have support for 5G connectivity. Last month, the Indian Galaxy A15 5G was announced together with the Galaxy A25 5G and Samsung has not made any statement yet when it comes to a launch for this particular handset.
