Samsung Galaxy A16 4G and A16 5G Spotted on TUV Rheinland and FCC certifications

Samsung is getting ready to release the Galaxy A16, their newest low-cost smartphone. There will be two variants of the Galaxy A16 available: one with a 5G connection and the other supporting 4G LTE. Recently, details about the Samsung Galaxy A16 series‘ features and specifications were revealed on certification platforms operated by TUV Rheinland and the FCC.

The Mac address, Wi-Fi Mac Address, and serial number of the Samsung Galaxy A16 4G were displayed in a photograph of the phone’s “Status Information” on the USA’s FCC certification platform.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 4G will be equipped with NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, and the FCC ID A3LSMA165M for the 4G model. The data cable, EP-DN980, and charger, EP-TA800, are what the FCC listings indicate. Both phones will support 18W fast charging (at 9v and 2.77 A), according to the TUV Rheinland listing, though there might be a 25W adaptor included in the package.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 4G model’s FCC ID is A3LSMA165M. Notably, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, and of course 4G LTE will all be supported by the gadget. The FCC listing also includes the model numbers of the data cable, charger, and 4G device, which are EP-TA800, EP-DN980, and SM-A165M/DS, respectively.

As an alternative, the listing provides us with the Galaxy A16 5G’s FCC ID, A3LSMA166M. Additionally, it appears from the FCC listing that the device will feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 5G, and 4G LTE. Its charger and data cable have the model numbers EP-TA800 and EP-DN980, respectively.

Based on the TUV Rheinland certification, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G battery is expected to have a 5,000mAh average capacity and a rated 4860mAh capacity. The W3-S-S model number is it.

Listings reveal that 18W fast charging will be available at 9v and 2.77 A; however, a 25W adaptor may be included in the package.
