Finally, Samsung has unveiled the day when it will actually launch its upcoming flagship chipset Exynos 2100, expected to feature first on the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup.
The South Korean giant has never been able to compete with Snapdragon chipsets for quite some time now, but things could actually take a turn with Exynos 2100. Both Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 and Samsung’s Exynos 2100 will be based out of 5nm EUV node made by Samsung itself.
Samsung’s Exynos 2100 will feature an ARM Mali-G78 GPU along with 14 graphical cores. The Exynos 2100 will be using the new ARM Cortex-X1 architecture, similar to the new Snapdragon 888 and so there is a hope that Samsung will finally be able to deliver a flagship chipset comparable to Qualcomm.
The recent video posted by Samsung confirms that its new flagship chipset with 5G is set to launch on January 12th 2021, just 2 days before the launch of the Galaxy S21 lineup. Obviously, this will be a huge leap for Samsung and so rightfully signifies the meaning “Exynos is back.”
