All of these Offer Next-Generation Picture Quality and a Wide Range of Cutting-Edge Personalization Options
Samsung Electronics announced its new MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and Lifestyle TVs today, just in time for the Consumer Electronics Show 2022. The 2022 displays bring the vision of ‘Screens Everywhere, Screens for All’ closer to reality with life-like visuals, immersive sound, and hyper-personalized experiences, thanks to advances in the picture and sound quality, more screen size possibilities, customisable accessories, and an improved interface.
The Pinnacle of Display Technology is MICRO LED.
MICRO LED, Samsung’s cutting-edge display, boasts best-in-class picture quality, thanks to 25 million micrometre-sized LEDs that emit light and colour individually, creating a highly immersive experience with incredible depth, brilliant colours, and increased clarity and contrast. Samsung will introduce the MICRO LED at CES 2022 in three sizes: 110″, 101″, and 89″.
The 2022 MICRO LED supports 20-bit greyscale depth in addition to the hardware improvements. This implies that MICRO LED models may convey every detail in a scene, with over 1 million steps of brightness and colour intensities for a real HDR experience. It also covers the entire DCI and Adobe RGB colour range, producing vibrant, vivid colours. MICRO LED provides breakthrough performance when combined with immersive design enabled by its 99.99 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Finally, MICRO LED has improved use and customising capabilities.
Art Mode:
Consumers can use Art Mode to transform any area into an art gallery by selecting and displaying their favourite artwork or digital pictures. Refik Anadol, a well-known artist and designer, has created two special media pieces for the 2022 MICRO LED.
Multi View:
Users can simultaneously view video from four separate sources in pristine 4K resolution at up to 120 frames per second using any or all of the four HDMI connectors.
Dolby Atmos:
With top, side, and bottom channel speakers for magnificent, multi-dimensional sound, Dolby Atmos provides the most immersive audio experience.
Neo Quantum Processor and Dynamic Sound Experience: The Evolution of Neo QLED:
Neo QLED will produce some of the most immaculate images and immersive soundscapes possible in 2022, thanks to the Neo Quantum Processor and the breakthroughs in picture technology and sound it brings. Indeed, the Neo Quantum Processor this year includes enhanced contrast mapping with BLU (back-light unit), which raises the brightness level from 12 to 14 bits for better management of the light source – the Quantum Mini LEDs. This gives the TV a total of 16,384 steps to regulate its lighting, up from 4,096 previously.
The Neo Quantum Processor is used in the new Shape Adaptive Light technology to evaluate lines, shapes, and surfaces in order to alter the shape of light from the Quantum Mini LEDs, improving the brightness and accuracy of all shapes on the screen. As a result, the image quality is exceptional, allowing you to see all of your HDR content. Real Depth Enhancer, a multi-intelligence picture quality technology, is also included in Samsung’s 2022 Neo QLED display. By determining and processing an object on the screen against its background to generate a sense of depth, this technical development adds more realism to the experience.
Samsung’s 2022 Neo QLED also has EyeComfort mode, which changes the screen’s brightness and tone based on a built-in light sensor and sunset/sunrise data. The screen will progressively reduce the quantity of light and deliver warmer tones when the ambient light changes, adjusting the blue light levels accordingly. By lowering blue light, which can influence sleep quality, this enables for a more comfortable viewing experience at night.
The sound features of the Neo QLED are also getting a substantial boost. The 2022 goods will include OTS Pro, which integrates strong up-firing speakers to provide overhead surround sound and builds on OTS (Item Tracking Sound), which directs sound to travel across the room along with the object on-screen. The addition of Samsung’s new top channel speakers gives the 2022 Neo QLED a genuinely outstanding Dolby Atmos experience. Neo QLED’s multi-channel speakers are strategically placed across the TV to create a dynamic sound experience that follows the action from every angle.
Award-Winning Lifestyle Televisions With Seamless Design and Technology Integration:
Samsung’s 2022 Lifestyle screens combine design and technology to create a one-of-a-kind, individualised experience. The Frame, The Sero, and The Serif have all been given a new Matte Display with anti-glare, anti-reflection, and anti-fingerprint features, making for one of the most pleasant and comfortable viewing experiences. As a result, UL (Underwriter Laboratories) certified the new Matte Display on Samsung’s 2022 Lifestyle displays as “Reflection Glare Free,” “Discomfort Glare Free,” and “Disability Glare Free.”
The frame:
Because of the anti-glare, low-reflection panel technology with an embossed, Matte Display, The Frame now provides the most authentic art viewing experience outside of a museum. It also protects against fingerprints and smudges, allowing customers to appreciate their favourite artwork in its original state. The frame is available in a variety of sizes, from 32″ to 85″.
The Serif:
The Serif also has a matte finish body that blends well with the Matte Display for a premium look and feel. The Serif is now available in sizes ranging from 43″ to 65″ after the inclusion of a 65″ size option.
The Sero:
With its new Matte Display, the Sero provides an optimal viewing experience in both vertical and horizontal modes. The new vertical Multi View option takes multitasking to the next level by allowing users to view various content on the top and bottom of the screen at the same time, or search for information while watching anything.
The Ultimate User Experience: The New Smart Hub and Apps:
Samsung’s Smart TVs for 2022 feature a new Smart Hub that puts content curation and discovery at the forefront of customers viewing preferences. The new Smart Hub will direct consumers to their favourite content or help them discover something new, saving them time in the process. The Smart Hub’s sidebar also allows users to seamlessly shift between categories – Media, Game (Gaming Hub), and Ambient – allowing them to focus on different in-home activities.
The Gaming Hub:
Through game streaming services, players will be able to discover and jump into the games they love faster. Through Samsung’s agreements with industry heavyweights NVIDIA GeForce Now, Stadia, and Utomik, players will have access to a large library of games, and that’s only the beginning.
Watch Together:
With the new app, users can video chat with friends and family while watching their favourite shows and movies, bringing everyone closer together.
NFT Platform:
The NFT Platform is a user-friendly, integrated platform for discovering, acquiring, and trading digital artwork via MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and The Frame.
Smart Calibration:
Users can utilize this tool to fine-tune the settings for the best possible picture quality. In 30 seconds, Basic mode calibrates the panels, while Professional mode optimises the screens for perfect picture quality in around 10 minutes.
Personalized Accessory Options: Expanded Accessory Options based on User Needs and Tastes:
In addition, the 2022 versions include more accessories to customise the user experience. The Sero’s vertical viewing experience is carried over to the Auto Rotating Wall Mount and Stand, which allows users to enjoy mobile viewing by rotating their screens automatically.
The 2022 goods, including the Smart Hub, will have a vertical interface and a vertical Multi View functionality to accompany the accessories. Apps like YouTube and TikTok will be available, as well as vertical mirroring and casting. Finally, vertical mode supports lifestyle features like Ambient Mode+ and Art Mode. Users may effortlessly rotate the screen by using the new rotation key on the remote control.
There are also unlimited customising choices with Samsung’s 2022 displays, including increased bezel options for The Frame and full motion slim-fit wall mounts for all TVs2.
The Latest Soundbar and Features are Breaking Sonic Barriers:
Technology changes have been made to the 2022 soundbar series, resulting in a more immersive, three-dimensional audio experience. With the addition of synchronisation, Q Symphony, Samsung’s trademark surround-sound experience that allows Neo QLEDs and soundbars to operate together, has been improved. This allows the soundbar and TV speakers to communicate with all of the TV speakers, including the top channel speakers, resulting in a rich, broad soundscape.
Wireless Dolby Atmos connectivity3, a wireless Smart TV-to-soundbar link in which both the screen and soundbar speakers give an exceptional audio experience without the use of bothersome cords, is also included with Samsung’s 2022 soundbars.
Furthermore, by combining passive radiator technology with its subwoofer, the new HW-S800B Ultra Slim Soundbar establishes a new standard in the slim soundbar market, offering strong bass in a tiny size. The new ultra-slim soundbar has real top-firing speaker channels and measures only 1.6″ deep.
“With advances in technology and how entertainment is disseminated, the role of the screen has evolved drastically in recent years.” “With our expanded product selection, we’re giving customers an absolutely immersive visual and audio experience that’s completely adjustable to their needs,” said Simon Sung, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung’s Visual Display Business’s Sales & Marketing Team. “Whether you’re a movie buff, a TV fan, a gamer, or an art collector, Samsung has cutting-edge products that can complement any decor.”
