Sadio Mane is in talks with Al Nassr for a transfer to Saudi Arabia, after only one year with Bayern Munich. The Senegalese winger has had a difficult season with the Bavarians which saw him underperform on the field and get into trouble off of it as well.

And although he wants to stay and make things work after a challenging campaign, the club has other plans. They want to move him on and get a transfer fee for the experienced player, with Saudi Arabia now emerging as a concrete option for him.

In the 22/23 season, Sadio Mane made 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists. He joined the club last summer, after losing the Champions League 2022 final with Liverpool.

And in spite of having two years left on his current deal, Bayern are actively exploring ways to move the 31-year-old on. He was involved in a locker room brawl with Leroy Sane, and the Germany international was seen with a bruised lip afterwards.

Sadio Mane was suspended for his behaviour off the field, with him also not being able to establish himself as a solid locker room personality.

Now, he could follow Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana and Alex Telles to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. Nothing is advanced between the Saudi club and Mane yet, since he has only decided to start negotiating personal terms now.
