Ryan Gravenberch is holding out for more playing time at Bayern Munich, and he has been linked with a move away from the club as a result. The midfielder has found opportunities hard to come by and has only played 712 minutes across all competitions this season.
He made the move from Ajax to Bayern this summer, but senior players like Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Thomas Muller, and Jamal Musiala have started ahead of him. He has only been ruled out with one minor injury this season and has been restricted to the bench for the most part.
Ryan Gravenberch to stay at Bayern Munich in spite of Liverpool’s interest
Given that he hasn’t been playing much, Liverpool approached his agents to try and explore a transfer opportunity. However, Bayern’s new manager, Thomas Tuchel alongside the board is very happy with the player and wants to keep him at the club.
They have maintained that opportunities will soon come for the 20-year-old, who was very highly rated during his time at Ajax. A transfer can be ruled out for the midfielder, who is expected to be a big part of Bayern’s future.
As a result, Liverpool will have to turn away from Ryan Gravenberch and keep their eyes on Mason Mount. The Merseyside club isn’t willing to pay over £100 million for Jude Bellingham and has prioritized Mount as their priority target. The Chelsea man hasn’t agreed to a new contract and could leave if there is no renewal.
