A more inexpensive version is reportedly on the way, according to some speculations, while even go so far as to say that Samsung will launch an Ultra variation that would be more expensive than the standard variant. Rumors suggest Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE to be affordable with no S Pen Support

“Samsung Electronics is developing two Galaxy Z Fold 6 models, a new Z Fold with a pen input function and a model without pen input,” according to an article from the South Korean tech website ETnews that Tipster Revegnus noted. This is a tactic to increase demand by lowering the cost of foldable cellphones.

As a result of competition from Chinese manufacturers like Huawei, Xiaomi, and OnePlus in the folding phone market, ETnews continued, Samsung is developing this new, more cheap variant. In the first and second quarters of this year, Huawei is expected to surpass Samsung in foldable sales, according to data cited by Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).

When the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE will be released is the one thing we do not yet know. Although Samsung already has a new ring, smartwatch, and two foldable phones planned, revealing it in July alongside the flagship series and everything else would make the event much more packed.
