India win the second collision against Pakistan by 9 wickets and its their biggest win ever against Pakistan (in terms of wicket lost). At halfway stage anyone would have thought there was something for Pakistan to win the match but Rohit & Dhawan have taken the game by the scruff of the neck and register a sensational victory. Completely one-sided and India are assured of a spot in the final.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma scored their 15th and 19th ODI centuries respectively.

There was a loud proclamation of being the best opening pair going around in ODI cricket. Dhawan made 114 off 100 balls but Rohit remained unbeaten on 111 off 119 balls. The nine-wicket victory is the biggest win for India against arch-rivals Pakistan in ODIs.

The crowd had expected a sterner fight from Pakistan in Round Two of the rivalry. There was some fight when Shoaib Malik made 90 runs of 78 balls and took Pakistan to 237/7. All of that evaporated when Rohit and Dhawan owned the stage under lights for the third time in a row.

The 210-run partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan is now the highest run partnership in Dubai.

The three dropped catches off Rohit’s bat and inconsistent, ill-planned bowling by Sarfaraz made pakistan lost the match. All the effort of Shoaib Malik went in vain as they could manage to take only one wicket of India, that too in terms of run out.

The 111 runs made by Rohit is the highest runs scored by a captain in Dubai.
