Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden will feature in the ATP Finals 2023 tournament to be held next month in Turin, Italy. They won the Indian Wells Masters held in March this year before coming up short in Madrid.

Granollers and Zeballos dropped the first set but responded brilliantly, securing the win within 90 minutes. They took the lead in the 12th game after achieving a breakpoint, and performed clinically in the tie-breaker to end all hopes of their opponents growing back into the game.

Bopanna, now 43, remains one of the most illustrious Indian tennis players although primarily playing doubles matches. He will debut in the ATP Finals with Ebden alongside Ivan Dodig-Austin Krajicek and Wesley Koolhof-Neal Skupski next month, adding to the list of accolades he has already achieved.
