Roger Binny who’s the president of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is going to be the new BCCO President. The current president of BCCI, Sourav Ganguly has been removed from the role. The new president will be elected in Mumbai on Tuesday at the annual general meeting. The biggest matter to discuss in this AGM will be regarding the appointment of the representative of the ICC and BCCI’s nomination for the ICC Chairman election.

- Finalising Women’s IPL
- Finding replacements for the Indian Cricketer’s Association for Anshuman Gaikwad and Shantha Rangaswamy.
- The new ICA representatives are set to be on the BCCI Apex Council
- Decide who will represent BCCI at the ICC meetings.
- Jay Shah is the main candidate along with N Srinivasan.
- BCCI will either let a candidate for ICC chairman or Greg Barclay will continue.
- BCCi will be shunning Sourav Ganguly for the role.
- The New IPL Governing Council will be formed as well.
- The nominated candidates are to be elected unopposed.
The deadline to fill the nominations for the ICC top job is October 20. The ICC Board will have a meeting from November 11-13 in Melbourne.
As per reports, “Although it is their entitlement, the state units have been told that INR 30 crore will be credited to their accounts as part of their share. The share of the North East and new states may vary a little but all the members of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are in for a major windfall.”
There has also been a significant increase in the hosting fees of tournaments like Col CK Nayadu Trophy, Cooch Behar Trophy, and, the Vijay Merchant Trophy. The match day hosting fees went up from INR 1,00,000 to 1,75,000.
BCCI has increased the hosting charge of day-night matches for these domestic tournaments by Rs.1,00,000. They went from 3,50,000 per match to 4,50,000.The expense went high to maintain the cost of floodlight operations.
There will be a phenomenal increase of INR 30 crore which will be announced for each of the state cricket associations.
