Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he hasn’t considered any transfer offers other than that of Barcelona as of now. The Poland international has made it clear that he wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer, and does not intend on seeing out the final year of his contract with them.

He does not plan on doing the pre-season with the German giants either, in search of an exit. Despite Lewandowski’s comments, Bayern Munich officials have been very firm about the fact that he has one year remaining on his contract and that he will be staying with them for the coming season.

Lewandowski: “I only want to leave Bayern. Loyalty and respect are more important than work. The best way is to find a solution together”, tells @OnetSport. 🚨 #FCBayern

“I [want to] walk away because I want more emotions in my life. At Bayern, there was not enough desire to listen to me and my needs. Something in me suddenly vanished. And we cannot overcome it. Even if you want to be professional. It’s simply too much,” Robert Lewandowski said.

“We should not look for a one-man decision. It doesn’t make sense, not after such time. After a journey with so many trophies and readiness or support, my loyalty and respect should be more important than strictly business.

“I’ve always been ready, I’ve spent eight beautiful years here, met wonderful people and I want these things to stay in my memories.”

“No other offers were even considered by me other than that of Barcelona. I want to leave Bayern, that’s clear,” he confirmed.

Lewandowski has become one of the best number 9s in the world during his time at Bayern Munich. Chelsea and Liverpool are among the other options for the player if Barcelona’s financial crisis prevents them from signing him.
