RM x SFMOMA Tickets: Everything ARMY Needs to Know Before They Sell Out

Some art shows you browse. This one, you’ll need to plan for. BTS leader RM’s very first museum exhibition, “RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me,” just got its official ticket rollout — and if early web traffic is any indication, demand is already through the roof.

Here’s exactly when to book, what it costs, and what you’ll actually see inside.

RM x SFMOMA: Key Details

How to Get Tickets

SFMOMA members get first access, with reservations opening August 4 at 10 a.m. PT for the October 1–3 preview days. General admission tickets go live a week later, on August 11 at 10 a.m. PT. All tickets are timed and must be booked online in advance — a regular museum ticket alone won’t get you in; you’ll need a separate “RM x SFMOMA + General Admission” timed ticket.

On top of standard admission, the exhibition carries a surcharge of $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends and holidays. Visitors 18 and under, along with SFMOMA members, get in free. For fans who want to visit more than once, the museum has introduced a new Encore Pass — a $75 add-on offering unlimited repeat visits for the entire run, plus a small gift and a store discount.

What’s Actually in the Exhibition

This marks the first-ever museum show built from RM’s personal art collection, bringing together nearly 200 works spanning Korean modern and contemporary art alongside international pieces. Visitors can expect pieces from celebrated Korean artists like Yun Hyong-keun, Park Rehyun, and Chang Ucchin, shown in conversation with global names — many of these works have never been publicly exhibited in the US before.

As RM of BTS put it in his own statement, the show reflects the boundaries “between East and West, Korea and America, the modern and the contemporary” — framing it less as a personal showcase and more as a bridge between worlds.
