KL Rahul scored 42, Rishabh Pant made 73 not out while Shardul Thakur took four wickets as India A defeated England Lions by 6 wickets in the 4th unofficial ODI in Thiruvananthapuram.

KL Rahul scored 42 off 77 balls as India A beat England Lions by 6 wickets in the 4th unofficial ODI in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. Chasing 222 to win, Rahul found form after the Koffee with Karan controvercy.

Rishabh Pant scored 73 runs of 76 balls. His innings consisted of 6 fours and 3 sixes. Deepak Hooda joined him after the loss of KL Rahul. He and Pant put up a 120 run partnership which took India past victory.

Rishabh Pant was the Player of the Match.

Shardul Thakur took 4 wickets for India A. Rahul Chahar took 2 wickets and Avesh Khan took 1 wicket.

Wickets keep falling of England Lions at regular interval.They were not able to convert their innings into a big total. Ollie Pope scored 65 runs and S Mullaney scored 58 runs for England Lions.

India lost 2 early wickets. Raturaj Gaikwad got out for a duck in the second over the innings. Ricky Bhui got out at the 15th over. Kl Rahul played some sensational shots unless he got out in the 28th over of a Will Jacks delivery.

The next and final odi against England Lions is on 31st January, on the same venue.
