According to a recent announcement from Capcom, the Mac version of the survival horror game Resident Evil Village will go on sale on October 28. In 2021, Resident Evil Village was originally released, however, it was only available on PCs and gaming consoles. Like previous Resident Evil games, Resident Evil Village is a first-person shooter that forces players to scavenge their environment for tools and equipment in order to advance.

Compared to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, the game has a stronger emphasis on action and fighting and is situated in a winter Eastern European town. About three years after Biohazard, Village is set.

According to Capcom, Resident Evil Village is compatible with M1 and M2 Macs running either macOS Monterey or macOS Ventura and is based on the original Mac version of the RE Engine Capcom game engine.

The Trauma Pack DLC, Raccoon Weapon Parts, and a Survival Resource Pack are included with Resident Evil Village for Mac. Resident Evil: RE:Birth is not included, although Capcom promises that the Winters’ Expansion will be available soon. Along with additional game content, Winters’ Expansion will feature a new third-person mode.
