Resident Evil Death Island Release Date, Plot, Cast, Expectations
The Resident Evil Death Island has dropped the final trailer and collaborates three of the franchise’s famous characters. Based on Capcom’s hit survival-horror video game franchise, the CG animated film series currently spans three installments – Resident Evil: Degeneration, Resident Evil: Damnation, and Resident Evil: Vendetta. This is the fourth installment, Resident Evil: Death Island, which is now on the way and will unite some of the horror franchise’s most famous characters for the first time.
Resident Evil Death Island: Plot
Resident Evil is definitely one of the direct sequels to 2017’s Resident Evil: Vendetta, Resident Evil: Death Island follows the Division of Security Operations agent Leon S. Kennedy, who attempts to rescue a kidnapped doctor when his mission is waylaid by a mysterious woman. The story of the show follows about the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance agent Chris Redfield investigates an inexplicable outbreak of infections on the West Coast, which appear to have originated on Alcatraz Island. Putting the pieces together, Chris and his team set sail to the island of despair to further investigate the threat.
Resident Evil follows D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy and B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield. Leon is definitely tremendous on the trail along with the kidnappers who have taken Dr. Antonio Taylor, the mission has been interrupted by a mysterious woman. Chris is exploring a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, without no clue. In this, the only thing that connects the infected victims is that they have recently visited Alcatraz Island.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is distributing Resident Evil: Death Island worldwide. This has inspired hope that the animated movie will receive a wide theatrical release, especially in the United States.
The story takes place in the infamous prison on Alcatraz Island, we’ll follow two separate storylines involving Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield. Leon becomes hot-tempered with some bad guys who have abducted a scientist with classified information that could put millions at risk. Unfortunately, his pursuit is sidetracked by a mysterious woman who appears out of nowhere. Meanwhile, Chris Redfield is tasked with investigating a mysterious infection that’s taken hold of San Francisco.
While Chris and his team board a ferry to head to the island, they have no idea what they’re in for. Alcatraz is about to become “Death Island” for them.
Resident Evil Death Island: Cast
Eiichirō Hasumi serves as director for Resident Evil: Death Island, while Makoto Fukami will be joining the project as a producer. Hasumi has garnered attention in the action, suspense, and drama genres. With the ability to blend action and emotional storytelling, Hasumi is praised for his work, such as the Umizaru, Assassination Classroom, and Mozu.
With his roots in anime and manga, Fukami is the acclaimed screenwriter behind hit anime series such as Psycho-Pass, Berserk, and Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka. He is known for his ability to create complex, thought-provoking narratives with intricate world-building and character development. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is set to distribute Resident Evil: Death Island worldwide, excluding Japan.
Resident Evil Death Island Release Date
Resident Evil: Death Island has been scheduled to release on July 7, 2023, in Japan. Now, we are still waiting on the word while the film will make its way across the globe.
