The base game is priced at ₹959, and there is an additional ₹599 in-app purchase for the Winters’ Expansion DLC, along with a ₹119 All Access Voucher DLC. These DLC packs are identical to those found in the PC and console versions, as reported by TouchArcade.

The Upcoming Resident Evil 4 on iPhones and iPads

Resident Evil 4 Remake is expected to be released later this year for iPhone 15 Pro, iPad (M1 and newer models), and macOS. While the App Store currently displays the game as “Coming Soon – Expected December 31, 2023,” this date is merely a placeholder, and there is speculation that the game could potentially launch immediately following Apple’s upcoming “Scary Fast” event.

Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village were both showcased during Apple‘s ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ announcement in September. The ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ Max are powered by the A17 Pro chip, featuring a new GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, allowing console games to be played on the iPhone at nearly equivalent performance levels.

All iPhone 15 models are equipped with DisplayPort support integrated into the USB-C port. This feature enables devices to natively output video at up to 4K/60Hz to a DisplayPort-equipped external display or TV using a compatible USB-C to DisplayPort cable. In contrast, previous iPhones with a Lightning port were limited to 1080p video mirroring when using Apple’s Lightning-to-HDMI or Lightning-to-VGA adapters.

For Resident Evil 4 Remake, cross-progression will be available on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. On the other hand, Resident Evil Village offers cross-progression between iPadOS and iOS, as it is already accessible on macOS, and the iOS and iPadOS versions are treated as separate purchases. The App Store’s description section lists the compatible devices that can run the game smoothly, which includes:

iPhones

  • iPhone 15 Pro
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max

The section also specifies that the game requires iOS 17.0 or later and an A17 Pro chip or later to run.

iPads

  • iPad Pro and iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular (11-inch, 3rd generation)
  • iPad Pro and iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular (12.9-inch, 5th generation)
  • iPad Air and iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (5th generation)
  • iPad Pro and iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular (11-inch, 4th generation)
  • iPad Pro and iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular (12.9-inch, 6th generation)

It’s important to note that running the game on an iPad requires iPadOS 17.0 or later and an M1 chip or a newer model.
