As we all know that India is currently facing a huge crisis wherein our “Annadaata”, that farmers are taking to roads to protest against the rules passed down by the ruling government. The entire country is waiting as to how the government will respond to the pleas of those who feed our stomachs.

In recent reports it was reported that Ambani-led Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) would file a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, seeking the government’s intervention to stop vandalism of its communication infrastructure by miscreants.

According to sources, in recent weeks around 1,500 mobile towers and telecom gear owned by Jio being vandalized in Punjab. It has been reported that it was damaged by the people involved in protests.

“acts of violence have endangered the lives of thousands of its employees and caused damage and disruption to the vital communications infrastructure”

The company claims that the destruction of its network towers was instigated by its business rivals who want to demoralize the company’s profits and stable footing. It alleged that its competitors are taking advantage of the ongoing farmers’ protests along Delhi’s borders.

“The falsehood of the campaign becomes crystal clear from the following irrefutable facts, which we have placed before the Honourable High Court. These facts establish that Reliance has nothing whatsoever to do with the three farm laws currently debated in the country, and in no way benefits from them. The sole nefarious purpose of linking the name of Reliance to these laws is to harm our businesses and damage our reputation,” Reliance said in the statement.
