The First Look That Sent Fans Into Overdrive

Midway through the Season 2 finale credits, viewers were treated to a surprise first look at Season 3, featuring Percy and Annabeth at a school dance. The romantic clip shows Annabeth pulling Percy onto the dance floor to Stephen Sanchez’s “Until I Found You”—a moment book fans have been waiting years to see on screen.

Disney’s official announcement declared: “First look. First dance. Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premieres THIS YEAR.” That’s significantly faster than the two-year gap between Seasons 1 and 2, proving Disney+ has serious confidence in this Greek mythology-inspired series.

What to Expect in The Titan’s Curse

Season 3 will adapt the third book, The Titan’s Curse, which follows Grover discovering powerful half-bloods with unknown parentage while the goddess Artemis mysteriously disappears. Percy, Annabeth, and the Hunters of Artemis must locate her and prevent a catastrophic threat to Olympus—all while confronting the chilling prophecy that gives the book its name.

The Season 2 finale already set up major deviations from the source material, particularly regarding Thalia’s fate and the Great Prophecy, suggesting showrunner Rick Riordan and team have fresh surprises planned for longtime fans.

The Incredible Production Timeline

Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is currently in production in Vancouver, with filming expected to wrap in early March 2026. That lightning-fast turnaround means post-production is already underway, positioning the season for a late 2026 release—most likely in December to maintain the holiday tradition established by previous seasons.

With Rick Riordan’s direct involvement ensuring book accuracy while allowing creative screen adaptations, Season 3 looks poised to deliver the perfect blend of faithful storytelling and fresh surprises.
