Xiaomi has launched quite a few products yesterday and among them, Redmi Smart Display is a new device in their IoT device lineup. It is quite familiar to Lenovo Smart Display or the Amazon Echo Show with its motto to enhance the productivity of a smart speaker with a display.

So the Redmi Smart Display comes with 8-inch HD display with 178° ultra-wide viewing angle along with a built-in camera for video calls. It also features third-generation Xiao AI assistant that helps you command your assistant and does all your smart jobs like any other smart assistant.

This smart diaply as a hub to IoT products to control smart home devices such as security camera with touch screen, voice command, or even hand gestures. It also comes with built-in Bluetooth Mesh gateway to connect Bluetooth-equipped devices with just a simple click.

  • 1.75 inch 5W full-range speaker with U-shaped bass duct

The Redmi Smart Display 8-inch has been priced at 349 yuan (around US$ 49 / Rs.3,754) and which is quite cheap and will be available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi official channels in China from March 27th onwards.
