Redmi Note 9 is set to launch on July 20 in India and will be exclusively via Amazon. Redmi Note 9 was launched globally a few months ago and it was the toned-down version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro that was launched in India around March.
The global version of Redmi Note 9 comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants but a recent report claims that Redmi will launch it with a new RAM version in India. The report claims that Redmi Note 9 may come with a 6GB RAM variant, but its storage option is not known yet. We can expect that the smartphone may have a 6GB + 128GB variant.

The global version of Note 9 has a MediaTek Helio G85 processor along with a Mali-G52 GPU. The phone is available in two RAM and storage variants. It will be powered with a 5020mAh battery which is largest among all the Redmi devices until now. It is a budget-oriented device and is expected to price lower than the Redmi Noe 9 Pro.
Pricing for the new Redmi Note 9 starts at $199/€183 (approx Rs.14,900) for the 3GB + 64GB model, there’s also a 4GB + 128GB for $249/€230 (approx Rs.18,700).
