Redmi Note 14 Series Launch Confirmed: Global Sales Milestone, Key Features Teased

The Redmi Note 14 series has been officially confirmed for launch, after several months of speculations and leaks. The Redmi Note 14 series is expected to have three smartphones that follow by these names — the Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, all succeeding last year’s Redmi Note 13 range. The launch didn’t come as a surprise given the many certifications and leaks we’ve seen in recent months. Redmi Note 14 series, on the other hand, is also tipped to launch in India soon but the exact date remains unannounced.

Before the launch, Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang teased some features of the upcoming Redmi Note 14 series. Wang has now confirmed that the upcoming series will carry an IP68 rating for water and dust proofing. Last year, only the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had this protection, while the other models were limited to an IP54 rating. The IP68 certification may not be available for all three models in the Redmi Note 14 series. Additionally, Wang hinted that the Redmi Note 14 series will feature stronger drop resistance and improved battery life, although no specific details have been shared yet.
