In October, Redmi introduced the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Note 13 Pro+ 5G in the Chinese market. These smartphones are scheduled to make their debut in India on January 4, with plans for a global release.
Recent reports have suggested that the company may also be preparing to launch 4G variants of the Note 13 and Note 13 Pro. Ahead of the anticipated launch, the Note 13 has surfaced in the database of Thailand’s NBTC certification platform. Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G has received approval from the same platform.
The Upcoming Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro
In November, the NBTC authority granted approval for the Redmi Note 13 5G (2312DRAABG), the Redmi Note 13 Pro (23117RA68G) – a 4G variant, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (2312DRA50G). The provided screenshots indicate that the 4G-enabled Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, identified as 23129RAA4G and 23090RA98G, respectively, have also been certified by the NBTC. However, typical of NBTC listings, there is no information on the core specifications of both models.
According to a recent report, the Note 13 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 685 chipset, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB / 512 GB of storage. Its camera setup includes a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Weighing 188.5 grams, the device will be available in purple and green shades, although details on its battery capacity and charging capabilities remain undisclosed.
The Note 13 Pro+ 5G, already available in China, boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging, it features a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
