Redmi Note 12T Pro Unveiled in China: Everything You Need to Know

The Redmi Note 12T Pro has made its debut in China. The company took to Weibo to share several posts confirming the phone’s key features. Today, they not only officially listed the phone on their website but also started accepting pre-orders. The phone will be available for purchase for the first time on May 31 in the domestic market.

While there hasn’t been an official announcement regarding its release in markets outside of China, there are speculations that it will be launched as the Redmi K60i in India. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications, features, and pricing of the Redmi Note 12T Pro.

Specifications and Pricing of Redmi Note 12T Pro

Powering the Redmi Note 12T Pro is the 3.1GHz Dimensity 8200-Ultra, the same chipset used in the recently announced Xiaomi Civi 3. The device offers up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Note 12T Pro boasts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels. It has a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 1,400:1 contrast ratio, and supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The touch sampling rate goes up to 270Hz, while the brightness can reach up to 650 nits. The display covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. For security, a side-facing fingerprint scanner is provided.

With a 5,080mAh battery, the handset offers support for 67W fast charging. The rear camera setup consists of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The device supports Full HD video recording at up to 30fps. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, supporting Full HD video recording at up to 60fps.

The Redmi Note 12T Pro runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14. It comes with various features including dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, an IR blaster, a USB-C port, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi Note 12T Pro is available in four configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The respective prices for these models are 1,599 Yuan ($225), 1,699 Yuan ($239), 1,799 Yuan ($254), and 1,999 Yuan ($282). The phone comes in three color options: Carbon Black, Ice Fog White, and Harumi Blue.
