More About the Redmi K70 Ultra Champion Edition with Lamborghini Flair

The exterior design of the special edition is based on the previous K70 Pro Champion Edition. It features a Y-shaped element in its logo inspired by that found on Lamborghini’s Essenza SCV12 track car and bears the SQUADRA CORSE racing shield logo. That will come in an output of Vibrant Green and Bold Yellow. The Champion Edition is more about the style and it will give fans a phone that looks like it’s designed to waft on high-performance raciness.

At this point, Xiaomi has yet to outline the specifics for its Champion Edition, although we suspect that as with the standard variant – it will share an internal design and most specifications while possibly offering greater memory capacities. Powering the Redmi K70 Ultra is a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, and it features a 1.5K OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also claims that the screen has industry-leading eye protection in low-light scenarios with PWM dimming at 3840Hz. We’re not sure about the screen size, only that it is being co-developed with TCL.

Regarding the camera system, there is a main 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with an expected 8MP ultra-wide and potentially a 2MP macro sensor. The K70 Ultra is the first Redmi phone to adopt Xiaomi’s self-developed AISP imaging algorithm and promises to improve its overall camera performance as a result.

Another highlight of the Redmi K70 Ultra is Xiaomi’s Pengpai T1 signal enhancement chip, which reportedly delivers a 12% boost in WiFi performance, a 20% improvement in GPS performance, and a significant 58% increase in 5G WiFi signal strength. Additionally, the phone will feature a Surge P2 chip for fast charging, a G1 chip for power management, and a D1 chip for independent display processing, all developed in-house by Xiaomi.

Moreover, the phone is confirmed to pack a 5500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging for quick power refills. It also boasts an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
