Xiaomi is preparing to launch its Redmi K70 series in China, consisting of three devices: Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro. Recently, official renders of the vanilla variant were leaked online. MySmartPrice’s team discovered the device on the Geekbench database, identified by the model number 2311DRK48C. However, based on the codename, it could also be the Redmi K70e.
The Leaked Redmi K70
The alleged Redmi K70 achieved a score of 1248 in the single-core test and 4177 in the multicore test. The listing revealed specifications such as Android 14, 15GB of RAM, a 3.35 GHz CPU, and a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, possibly associated with the upcoming Dimensity 8300 chipset. According to a recent leak from tipster WHY LAB, MediaTek is expected to unveil its sub-flagship chipset, the Dimensity 8300, in the next two weeks.
There’s speculation that the device, identified with model number 2311DRK48C, may be released in India as the POCO F6. A POCO device with model number 2311DRK481 has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website and is anticipated to be launched as the POCO F6 in India in the first quarter of 2024. This aligns with the device’s model number and suggests a pattern, as Redmi introduced the base Redmi K60 in India last year as the POCO F5 Pro.
Rumors suggest that two Redmi K70 variants, the K70 and K70E, might be globally introduced under the POCO brand. However, it’s expected that the Redmi K70 Pro will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. The POCO F6, with model number 2311DRK48I, was previously spotted on the IMEI database. Additionally, the POCO F6 Pro appeared in the listing with model numbers 23113RKC6G and 23113RKC6I. It’s important to note that early certifications provide limited details, and caution is advised until official confirmation is received for more accurate information.
