The Redmi K70 series—which consists of the Redmi K70, Redmi K70E, and Redmi K70 Pro—was unveiled in China on Wednesday, November 29. Similar in design, the new Redmi smartphones include a 6.67-inch display with up to 2K resolution and triple rear cameras. Preinstalled on all three phones is HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.

The Redmi K70 Pro is set to come with 2K Chinese OLED screen, which is a product of their partnership with TCL Huaxing and represents the second generation. New C8 luminous material is used, which consumes less energy.
It features a maximum brightness of 4000 nits, 12-bit 68.7 billion color support, three TUV Rheinland eye protection certifications, and 3840Hz PWM high-frequency dimming—a feature that is incredibly rare among 2K panels.
It also confirms that the image has a glass back, a metal frame, and the same 1/1.55′′ Light Fusion 800 sensor as the K70 Pro. It does, however, lack the Pro model’s 2X telephoto camera, suggesting that a standard macro sensor would likely be included.
The K70 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W cable charging. The rapid charging technique is said to fully charge the battery in just eighteen minutes.
The price of the K70 Pro is CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 38,600) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB model; CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 42,000) for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant; CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs. 45,000) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB option; and CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs. 51,000) for the more expensive 24GB RAM + 1 TB storage variant.

In contrast, the vanilla variant has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that can support up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The 50-megapixel 1/1.55-inch Hunter 900 sensor, which sports OIS capability, is the focal point of the Redmi K70’s triple rear camera arrangement. Moreover, the device has a 2-megapixel macro lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens included. A 16-megapixel sensor is once more featured on the selfie camera.
Redmi K70 has a 5,000mAh battery that can be fully charged in just 18 minutes thanks to its 120W cable charging capability.
The K70’s starting price for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option is CNY 2,499, or around Rs. 29,000. For CNY 2,699 (about Rs. 31,000), you can get 16GB RAM + 256GB of storage, and for CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 35,000), you can get 16GB RAM + 512GB of storage. At CNY 3,399 (about Rs. 40,000), the top-end model comes with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

The Redmi K70E is an economical option that joins the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro. While its 6.67-inch OLED 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixel) display boasts a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 2160Hz, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, it shares the same SIM and software characteristics as its brothers.
The Redmi K70E has two pricing options: the 12GB RAM + 256GB model costs CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 23,000) and the 12GB RAM + 512GB variant costs CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 25,000). The most expensive model, which comes with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM, costs CNY 2,599, or around Rs. 30,000.
