Redmi K50 Series pricing leakes ahead of scheduled launch in China, will begin at $315 (23,514 INR)

Redmi is gearing up to launch its next-generation K-Series smartphones on its home turf, the Redmi K50 lineup. It includes devices ranging from mid-range to the premium category.

Ahead of this launch, there have been numerous leaks with respect to these upcoming devices and now we have got our hands on some more leaks. The latest leak reveals the pricing details of the Redmi K50 Series smartphones in the Chinese market.

As per the leak, the Redmi K50 will begin at a price point of Yuan 1,999 or $315 (23,514 INR) while the Pro model will be priced at Yuan 2,699 or $426 (31,801 INR). The Redmi K50 Pro+ is deemed to start at Yuan 3,299 or $521 (38,893 INR). The best device in the lineup will be the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be priced at Yuan 3,499 or $553 (41,282 INR).

Two out of the four models will be powered by Qualcomm’s chipset. The Redmi K50 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip while the Gaming Edition will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.

The Redmi K50 Pro on the other hand will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chip while the Pro+ model will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chip. The Redmi K50 and K50 Pro will have 66W and 67W charging support, the Pro+ and the Gaming Edition models will have support for 120W fast charging.

Three out of the four models have already aced the TENAA certification process in China indicating that the launch date is not really that far odd. A model of the series has also appeared on the BIS database, which could indicate its launch in the Indian market soon after its debut in China.

Redmi has not yet announced the launch date for the Redmi K50 Series smartphone but we can expect the device to launch officially later this month.
