Redmi AirDots 2 TWS earbuds launched in China for just 79 yuan or Rs. 800

The successor to the budget Redmi AirDots TWS earbuds has been launched in China for an attracting price of 79 yuan which is cheaper than its predecessor that was launched back in March last year at 99 yuan. The Redmi AirDots S was launched this year that came with better connectivity and has been launched in India as well.

Now the true successor Redmi AirDots 2 is available for crowdfunding in China from 22nd July onwards for 79 yuan (around Rs. 800) but as soon as it ends the earbuds will retail for 99 Yuan (around Rs. 1,000).

The new Redmi AirDots 2 doesn’t have any change to the design and aesthetics to the previous earbuds, retaining the same pill-shaped box. Then, there are same small in-ear earbuds with buttons for various functions including taking calls, using XiaoAI Voice assistant, skipping tracks, WeChat Messaging, Taking Photo, etc.

The earbuds now features a powerful 7.2mm sound driver which is touted to offer powerful low-frequency output as well as managing great quality treble. It now supports Environment Noise Reduction technology that helps to reduce any kind of background noise during calls, increasing your sound clarity.

The major change this time is the upgrade to the Bluetooth 5.0 version that should give you better connectivity and more battery life. The Redmi AirDots 2 are also very light in weight, each of the earbud weighing just 4.1 grams. Coming to the battery life, each of the earbuds offers 4 hours of continuous playback and with the charging case, it offers up to 12 hours of battery life.
