Back in June, the Redmi A3x had been announced globally as a budget-friendly member of the company’s much-loved A-series family. Recently, the Indian subsidiary of Redmi introduced it to a local audience with unchanged design and hardware. Redmi A3x quietly launched in India at a price of starting price of ₹6,999 with a big battery & latest Android version. Take a closer look at the Redmi A3x below.

The All New Redmi A3x

In terms of internal storage, the phone comes with 16GB inbuilt memory alongside support for a microSD card slot. It is priced at ₹6,999 for the 3GB with 64GB version and ₹7,999 for the 4GB RAM with 128 GB storage. It is offered in three colors: Midnight Black, Ocean Green, Olive Green, and Starry White. The Redmi A3x can be purchased through Amazon India and the company’s official website.

It features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ (1650×720) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass3 protection on top of it. The Unisoc T603 chipset with a Mali G57 MP1 GPU powers the device. The Redmi A3x further offers 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and a maximum of 128GB eMMC5.1 internal storage, expandable with up to 1TB via the dedicated microSDXC card slot.

The Redmi A3x has a 5,000mAh battery and supports a charging power of up to 10W. It features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of an 8MP primary sensor and a QVGA (0.08MP) secondary lens. For selfies and video calls, it has a 5MP front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 14-based MIUI out of the box and will receive two years of major OS updates and three years of security updates.

For security, the Redmi A3x includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, and GPS.
