Xiaomi has introduced two entry-level smartphones in India under the Redmi Band without any teasers. Let us take a look at the specifications of these new phones.
Redmi 9A Sport
The Redmi 9A has a 6.53″ TFT IPS HD+ screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720p. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor and runs on MIUI based on Android OS.
The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it offers support for 10W fast charging. The phone offers up to 3GB RAM along with 32GB storage. The device also has a microSD card slot so you can expand its memory all the way up to 512GB.
The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, for selfies, it has a 5MP front shooter. The device comes in Carbon Black, Metallic Blue, and Coral Green colorways.
The Redmi 9A Sport comes in a 2GB RAM+32GB and a 3GB+32GB variant, they are priced at 6,999 INR and 7,999 respectively.
Redmi Sport 9i
The Redmi 9i Sport features a 6.53″ TFT IPS HD+ screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 and runs on the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset and runs on MIUI.
The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera shooter and a 5MP selfie shooter. It comes in a 4GB RAM variant and has up to 128GB of storage space expandable up to 512GB.
The Redmi 9i Sport has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. It runs Android 10 based MIUI 12 out-of-the-box.
The device has a Face Unlock feature and has a 3.5mm audio jack. It is available in two storage variants, a 4GB RAM+64GB and a 4 GB RAM+128GB variant that is priced at 8,799 INR and 9,299 INR respectively.
The device comes in Carbon Black, Metallic Blue, and Coral Green colors.
Both the devices are available today from 12 PM onwards and can be purchased on Mi.com and Amazon.in.
