Finally, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 Prime in India at a very decent price range. This smartphone will be available on August 6 at 10 AM. The phone will be available in two storage and RAM variants with three different colour options. This is an Amazon special smartphone from the brand and will be only available via Amazon, and Amazon has also made the landing page where you can clock on the ‘Notify Me‘ button to get notified before the sale starts.

Specification of Redmi Note

Redmi 9 Prime features a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary image sensor, an 8MP secondary image sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens that has a 118-degree field of view (FoV), a 5MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. There is an 8MP selfie camera housed in the drop notch.

It comes with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with 4GB DDR4x RAM and up to 128GB storage, and options can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD. The phone runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. The phone can be powered by a 5,020mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. But a 10W charger comes in the box.

Price and Availability

Redmi 9 Prime is priced at Rs.9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant whereas the 4GB + 128GB is priced at Rs.11,999. The phone will be available on 6th August at 10 AM as a part of an early access sale via Amazon during Amazon Prime Day. Originally the phone will be available from August 17 via mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studios.
