As per some reports, Redmi is going to launch three new smartphones in its home country very soon. The reports are saying that two of them will be 4G devices (powered by Snapdragon SoC) whereas the other one will be a 5G smartphone (powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoC). As of now, we’ve got the codenames of the three phones: Rainbow (4G), Camelia (4G), and Iris (5G). The retail names have not been confirmed for any of those devices.

However, the Iris model is expected to have a display with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In terms of the camera setup, this phone is likely to have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor along with a depth and a macro shooter.
Another interesting report has come out regarding the upcoming 5G smartphone in China from Redmi, saying that it will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10 5G, the retail name will probably be the Redmi 20X. As per the specs, the Redmi 20X will run on Android 11 OS and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimesity 700 5G chipset. Regarding the display, this phone is expected to offer a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The SoC of this phone is likely to be paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone is likely to offer a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, this phone will have an 8MP selfie snapper at the front.

The Redmi 20X is expected to be fueled up by a 5,000mAH battery supported by 18W of fast charging. In terms of the pricing, the 4GB/128GB variant will likely carry a price tag of around 999 Yuan (~$153) in China.
