The listing claims that the India version has been seen with model number 23053RN02I. This phone scored 436 and 1388 on the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. According to the listing (via), MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G88 CPU would power the Redmi 12 in India.
An affordable smartphone, it is likely to be introduced. In the meanwhile, the company released the Redmi 12 for TBH 5,299 (about Rs 12,600) in Thailand. As a consequence, based on prior performance, we may predict that Indian customers will pay less than or about Rs 12,000 for the phone.
Redmi has also shown a few color options and the style of the next phone. According to the company, the Pastel Blue and Jade Black color variants will have the same Crystal Glass finish as the Moonstone Silver variant. As a result, the look will be improved and the cheap equipment will appear posher.
