Redmi has added another device to its long catalog of devices, the Redmi 10 Prime. The device is largely similar to the Redmi 10 variant that launched globally with the major difference being the 6,000mAh battery.
Redmi 10 Prime brings a 6.5″ LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an FHD+ resolution. Coming to the camera setup, it has a 50MP primary sensor on the rear with an f/1.8 aperture around the back along with an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two, 2MP modules for macro shots and depth data.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and comes in 4GB/6GB RAM variants and 64GB/128GB storage options.
The 6,000mAh battery should help the Redmi 10 Prime power on for longer than the global Redmi 10 variant. It supports 18W charging and has a 22.5W charger in the box. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual-stereo speakers.
You can also use the Redmi 10 Prime as a power bank and reverse charge other devices and accessories(via cable) at 9W speeds. The device is powered by MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS.
The Redmi 10 Prime has an IR Blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and is 9.56mm thick, and weighs 192g.
The Redmi 10 Prime comes in Phantom Black, Astral White, and Bifrost Blue color options. The 4GB/64GB variant retails for 12,499 INR while the 6GB/128GB model retails for 14,499 INR. First sales will begin on the 7th of September via Mi.com, Amazon India, and partner retailers across India.
