“Rediscovery of Love”: Kim So Yeon’s Divorced-Couple-Under-One-Roof K-Drama Is the Second Half of 2026’s Most Relatable Romance

Divorce. A shared house. The same workplace. An ex-husband who finally wants to change, and a man from the past who never stopped waiting. If that setup doesn’t already have you emotionally invested, “Rediscovery of Love” is about to change that — because the full cast has just been confirmed, and it is absolutely stacked.

What Is “Rediscovery of Love” About?

Rediscovery of Love tells the story of a divorced couple who end up living in a share house and working at the same hotel, leading them to rediscover one another.

What makes this premise feel so fresh is its grounded emotional honesty — it’s not about falling in love for the first time, but about two people navigating the complicated, messy, deeply human aftermath of a marriage that fell apart, forced into proximity at exactly the wrong moment.

Full Cast Breakdown

Kim So Yeon plays Jang Ha Kyung — once a highly regarded hotelier, whose career was interrupted by marriage and motherhood. Having lost herself in the roles of wife, daughter-in-law, and mother, she returns to work after her divorce, only to end up sharing a house and workplace with her ex-husband.

Kim Ji Suk plays Lee Dong Jin, Ha Kyung’s ex-husband and deputy marketing manager at the same hotel. Believing he had been a devoted husband, he is blindsided by her desire for divorce. After a year of reflection and change, he finds himself living and working alongside her once again.

Yoon Hyun Min plays Park Moo Hyuk, the hotel’s VIP Club Lounge team leader — a man who met Ha Kyung by chance nine years ago and never stopped thinking about her, now making clear he won’t let the opportunity pass a second time.

Hwang Woo Seul Hye rounds out the ensemble as Oh Yoo Mi, Ha Kyung’s closest friend — a free-spirited café owner and YouTuber who firmly believes marriage is optional but romance absolutely is not.

Cast & Drama Snapshot

Why “Rediscovery of Love” Is Already Generating Buzz?

The storyline touches on something Korean dramas have rarely explored with this much nuance — the quiet identity erosion that often follows marriage, and the courage it takes to reclaim yourself afterwards. Paired with a classic love triangle and an irresistibly awkward living arrangement, this is shaping up to be one of the most emotionally satisfying dramas of the year.

The chemistry between Kim So Yeon and Kim Ji Suk as a believably complicated divorced couple is what the entire drama hinges on — and early expectations are sky-high.
