Redfall is one of the latest first-person co-op shooters that belongs to Arkane Studios, Bethesda. Now, Xbox has slated to hit through Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox, Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Pass, and PC anytime in the first half of 2023. During the first six months of the year, the work progressed mysteriously. We just have some hint from a prominent Xbox insider is to be believed, then the game set to release towards the end of this six-month window.
The controversy generates while the source of the hint means, Klobrille, claimed he has not said anything permanent. While commenting on some speculation that the game is going to be delayed to drop in 2023, the Xbox insider said “I May disagree with that,” capitalizing “May” to presumably hint at a May release window for the game. This is the extension of the tease, which indicates this is the extent of new information we have to offer.
Xbox and Bethesda declared at the E3 2021 showcase on June 13, 2021, Redfall develops a vampire theme, and these co-op/multiplayer elements mean having a brand-new type of game, in addition to a brand new IP, for Arkane Studios.
“Redfall is an open-world, co-op FPS from Arkane Austin, the award-winning team behind Prey and Dishonored,” reads an official pitch of the game. “Continuing Arkane’s legacy of carefully crafted worlds and immersive sims, Redfall brings the studio’s signature gameplay to this story-driven action shooter.”
The story of the game revolves around the island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, which is under siege by a legion of vampires getting blocked out by the sun and cutting the citizens off from the outside world. Exploring the open world and immersing yourself in a deep tale campaign like you can solve the mystery behind the vampires’ appearance. Ally has a handful of survivors against the creatures threatening to bleed the town dry.
Redfall is going to release anytime next year through Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. In addition to being available to purchase for $69.99, The game is going to be available via Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when it launches.
