Nubia launched the Red Magic 7 Series of gaming smartphones in China early this year. The vanilla Red Magic 7 launched first globally, the company has now begun to send press invites for the global launch event of a new device.
This device is expected to be the Red Magic 7 Pro and it is set to debut globally on the 12th of April.

The Red Magic 7 Pro is set to arrive with a 6.8″ Full HD+ OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate support, the panel gets a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color, DC dimming, and more. The display doubles up as an in-display fingerprint sensor that also supports heart rate monitoring.
The Red Magic 7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip paired with 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB internal storage. Via virtual RAM, the total RAM can reach up to 24GB. The device arrives with the Red Core 1 chip, this is a dedicated chip that is made exclusively to cater to the gaming community.
The latest device from red magic also offers triggers on the shoulder, that when paired with the powerful gaming chip are capable of offering a 500Hz touch sampling rate. The device also promises to deliver an amazing gaming experience.
In terms of cooling, the Red Magic 7 Pro features the ICE 8.0 cooling system that includes an RGB fan that spins at 20,000 RPM. In addition to this, it houses nine heat dissipation materials as well, such as a large VC liquid cooling plate.
In the optics department, it has a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, it houses a 16MP selfie shooter under the display. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 135W fast charging. The Red Magic 7 Pro can go from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.
Apart from this, it has an accelerometer, gyro sensor, proximity sensor, compass, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.2 support, WiFi 6, dual stereo speakers, and 3 mics overall.
The Red Magic 7 Dark Knight Edition launched in China at Yuan 4,799 or $757 (57,743 INR) for the 12GB+128GB version.
