The movie of Tom Cruise is the sequel to the 1980s classic. Till now Tom Cruise is the same as a draw and when it comes to the big screen, doors are always open for him for this reason for more roles in the future.
Among all those doors one door is the door of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 2008, Iron Man’s role was offered to Cruise, and has gained the chance to become Tony Stark. At that time he rejected the offer and the role was given to Robert Downey Jr, and the rest has become history.

Cruise has said that the reason behind not doing the role is that he thought and felt that the project would not work for him.

Cruise has said, “Marvel Studios came to me at a certain time and, when I do something, I want to do it right”. He further said, “If I commit to something, it has to be done in a way that I know it’s going to be something special.”
“And while everything lined up, it didn’t feel like it was going to work for me. I have to be able to make decisions and make the movie the best it can be, and it just didn’t go that way.”
The other reason for which Cruise has apparently wanted to control over the project and as we know that he is known for being meticulous in his work.
