Realme will launch a mid-range smartphone with an alert slider similar to OnePlus in April

Realme is likely to take a page out of OnePlus‘ design philosophy and make it one of the core features for its smartphones. The company is a part of the BBK Electronics Group that owns Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus. All these brands usually share their technological resources so it is not surprising if Realme does borrow the Alert Slider from OnePlus.

As per tipster Yogesh Brar, realme is testing its devices with an alert slider. If you did not know, the alert slider switches between ringer and vibrate mode similar to the iPhone. As of now, the alert slider has made an appearance on nearly all OnePlus smartphones. This will be the second BBK-owned company after OnePlus to feature an alert slider in its devices.

Realme will launch its first device with an alert slider very soon and this feature will make an appearance on mid-range smartphones from Realme.

The tipster claims that the first smartphone with an alert slider from realme will launch in April itself, the specs of the devices are still unknown.

OnePlus has not brought the alert slider on the Nord CE Series, the button is there on the Nord 2 and other premium smartphones priced above 30,000 INR. With Realme launching mid-range smartphones with an alert slider, the feature will be easily accessible to users.

It appears we are near to the launch of the device in question, the exact specs, and date of launch are not yet known. We will keep you updated as more information emerges. Realme is currently prepping for the launch of the Realme 9 5G Series. The company has confirmed the launch of Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE featuring a Dimensity 810 chip and a Snapdragon 778G chip.
