Realme Q2, Q2 Pro, and Q2i launched in China starting at 998 Yuan (~$148)

A couple of hours ago, during a morning launch event of Realme, the company has launched its Q series smartphones in China. There is a total of three smartphones in this series: Realme Q2i, Realme Q2, and Realme Q2 Pro. Without wasting any time, let’s get into the specifications and pricing of those phones.

Realme Q2i Specifications:

The Realme Q2i runs the Realme UI 2.0 which is based on the Android 10 OS and is powered by a Dimensity 720 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.5-inch IPS LCD (HD+ resolution) panel with a waterdrop notch design. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7% and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The rear panel of this phone is made of polycarbonate. This phone is available in two different color variants: Blue and Moonlight Silver.

The Dimensity 720 chipset of this phone is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage (expandable via an external microSD card). Coming to the camera section, this phone features a square-shaped triple rear camera setup which includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with a 4cm focal length, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. For the selfies, this phone comes with an 8MP selfie snapper at the front. The Realme Q2i has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the battery, this phone is fueled by a decent 5,000mAH battery with the support of 18W fast charging. As per the pricing and availability, the Realme Q2i will go for its first sale on November 1 this year at a price tag of 998 Yuan (~$148).

Realme Q2 Specifications:

The Realme Q2 runs the Realme UI 2.0 which is based on the Android 10 OS and is powered by a Dimensity 800U chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.5-inch full HD+ panel with a hole-punch design with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7% and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This phone is available in two different color variants: Blue and Silver.

The Dimensity 800U chipset of this phone is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 128 GB of internal storage or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 128 GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone features a triple rear camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 119-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.3 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with 4cm focal length. For the selfies, this phone comes with a 16MP selfie snapper at the front. The Realme Q2 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the battery, this phone is fueled by a decent 5,000mAH battery with the support of 30W fast charging through USB-C. As per the pricing and availability, the Realme Q2 will go for its first sale on October 19 this year at a price tag of 1,199 Yuan (~$177) for 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 1,299 Yuan (~$192) for 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.

Realme Q2 Pro Specifications:

The Realme Q2 Pro runs the Realme UI 2.0 which is based on the Android 10 OS and is powered by a Dimensity 800U chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design that offers full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 180Hz touch sampling rate. This phone is available in two different color variants: C-color (color gradient) and Light Tide Gray that comes with a leather back.

The Dimensity 800U chipset of this phone is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 128 GB of internal storage or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 256 GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone features a quad rear camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, a 119-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.3 aperture, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with 4cm focal length. For the selfies, this phone comes with a 16MP selfie snapper at the front. The Realme Q2 Pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the battery, this phone is fueled by a relatively smaller 4,300mAH battery with the support of 65W SuperDart fast charging. As per the pricing and availability, the Realme Q2 Pro will go for its first sale on November 1 this year at a price tag of 1,599 Yuan (~$237) for 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 1,799 Yuan (~$266) for 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
