With the rapid pace of smartphone innovation, choosing the right device can be a daunting task. Realme, a prominent player in the smartphone market, has released a range of compelling options. To help you make an informed decision, here’s a list of the top Realme phones to consider in 2023. Whether you prioritize performance, camera capabilities, or budget-friendly options, this guide will assist you in finding the ideal Realme phone for your needs.

Best Realme Phones in 2023

Realme GT 2 Pro

Realme Phones

Realme’s flagship GT 2 Pro stands out with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and impressive features. It boasts a WQHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, a powerful 50MP triple rear camera system, and ample RAM and storage options. Although lacking waterproofing and wireless charging, it competes strongly with other industry flagships.

Realme GT 2

The Realme GT 2, despite resembling its Pro counterpart, shares more similarities with last year’s Realme GT. It features a Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and 65W charging, reminiscent of its predecessor. With upgrades such as a larger 6.62-inch screen, a bigger battery, and an improved 50MP main camera, it offers a decent experience overall.

Realme 9 Pro+

As the top model in the budget-friendly 9 series, the Realme 9 Pro+ provides a mid-range option. It impresses with a 90Hz AMOLED display and a capable 50MP main camera, though the other lenses may not be as noteworthy. The phone’s unique UV-reactive color-changing design adds a touch of flair, though it may not be available on all finishes. Although the camera setup may not match the Pro+ variant, it still delivers satisfying results, and the Snapdragon 695 chipset ensures reliable performance with 5G support.

Realme GT Neo 3

The Realme GT Neo 3 focuses on speed and features racing stripes on its back. While it is available in two versions globally, the more exciting variant offers 150W wired charging, currently the world’s fastest. This charging speed allows for a full battery charge in under 15 minutes and a 50% charge in just five minutes. Powered by the flagship Dimensity 8100 chip, the phone delivers fast performance, and its main camera is decent, although the ultrawide and macro lenses are less impressive.

Realme 9

Positioned at the core of Realme’s 2022 lineup, the Realme 9 offers a budget-friendly option with pleasing features. By sticking to 4G connectivity, the phone allocates more resources to its display, battery, and cameras, which perform admirably for the price. While the absence of 5G and the desire for a slightly faster chipset and improved under-display fingerprint sensor may disappoint some, the Realme 9 remains a well-rounded choice that demonstrates 4G phones are still relevant.

Realme 9 Pro

Although not the most powerful phone in the 9 series, the Realme 9 Pro closely rivals its older sibling, the 9 Pro+. It shares the same color-changing design and packs a sizable 5000mAh battery, 33W charging, and a 120Hz LCD display. While its triple rear camera setup is not as advanced as the Pro+, it still delivers satisfactory results, and the inclusion of a Snapdragon 695 chipset brings 5G support.

Realme 9i

Targeting budget-conscious buyers, the Realme 9i is the most affordable option in the 9 series, surpassing the super cheap C-series. While lacking 5G capability and featuring limited performance, it offers appealing design aesthetics and impressive battery life. The inclusion of generous 128GB storage as standard, which is not always found at this price point, is also worth noting.
