Realme has announced that the company’s latest low-cost smartphone in the new Note series, the Realme Note 50, will go on sale in the Philippines on January 23rd.
This is identical in appearance to the Realme C53 that was released in India and other places last year. It even shares a display, SoC, and battery. However, it features lower-quality cameras, perhaps to save money.
The launch of the Realme Note series of smartphones was just revealed by Sky Li, the CEO and creator of Realme. The launch date of the Realme Note 50 smartphone in international regions was later revealed by Realme Philippines on X, formerly Twitter. Prior to its planned launch in the nation, Realme Philippines has now disclosed the smartphone’s specifications and price.
Realme Note 50 Specifications
The Realme Note 50 has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen also has a 260ppi pixel density, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It comes with a dustproof and water-resistant IP54-rated chassis that weighs 186 grams and measures 7.99 mm in thickness.
Both face unlock and a side-facing fingerprint scanner are among the Realme Note 50’s security features. runs the Realme UI T-based Android 13 Go operating system.
The integrated Unisoc T612 chip is found in the Note 50. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W USB-C charging compatibility, 64 GB of internal storage, and 4 GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is included for extra storage.
The device is powered by the UNISOC T612 SoC, which uses 12nm technology. The octa-core chipset consists of six 1.8GHz Cortex A55 cores, two 1.8GHz Cortex A75 cores, and a Mali G57 MP1 GPU. Two lenses make up the Realme Note 50’s rear camera: a 13MP primary lens and a monochrome lens. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that allows for 10W quick charging.
