All About the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G

Realme India took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will be launched in March. A teaser video highlighted a camera module with a triple rear camera setup featuring optical image stabilization (OIS).

The announcement also directs users to an Amazon microsite confirming that the model will be available on Amazon upon launch. Additionally, it reveals that the phone will boast a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor for its main rear camera setup. More specifics about the device are expected to surface as we get closer, to the launch date.

It’s interesting to mention that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G could potentially be a revamped version of the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G as it appears that the Realme Narzo 60 Pro model is believed to be a rebranded edition of the Realme 11 Pro series. Realme might make some adjustments, to features of the Realme 12 Pro+ for this release. Particularly based on teaser images it’s noticeable that the Narzo 70 Pro doesn’t include a telephoto camera, which sets it apart, from the Realme 12 Pro+.

This divergence could represent a notable distinction and possibly contribute to a lower price point for the upcoming device. Interestingly, the Realme 12 Pro+ also debuted with a 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor, the same one confirmed for the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G. However, the Realme 12 Pro+ additionally features a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto shooter and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

In contrast, the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G boasts a 100-megapixel OmniVision primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, complemented by a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The model was priced at ₹23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant upon its Indian launch, with the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 1TB iterations priced at ₹26,999 and ₹29,999, respectively.
