Realme 'Koi' in leaked images tipped to feature 125W fast charging

Realme has officially revealed the teaser image or you can say the first poster of the upcoming Koi smartphone that is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The official poster image reveals nothing but the company is alleged to create a Weibo account for the sole purpose of leaking the information about its upcoming Koi smartphone. In addition to all those we also have many tipsters who reveals many information about the device.

These images are shared by @Geek_Cao which reveals the design of the rear panel of the smartphone. The phone seems to have a plastic body at the back with a large ‘DARE TO LEAP’ engraving on it. We can also see three large camera lens placed longitudinally along with a flash light. A close lookup on the cameras in the second image revels that the phone will come with a 64MP primary camera.

We all know that the phone named ‘Koi’ will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset, whereas, the phone codenamed ‘Race’ was also teased to come with Snapdragon 888 SoC first in the market from this brand. So the only justification we can have at this moment that both the ‘Koi’ and ‘Race’ are the same phone, where the former is the retail name and the latter is the codename.

The ‘Koi’ is reported to have the support of Realme’s 125W fast charging dubbed 125W UltraDART. This technology was showcased to charge 0% to 41% in just 2 minutes, while the full charge will take around 20 mintues. More reports claim that ‘Koi’ will also have a vegan leather version and there are also speculations that it will be a special edition and will look different from the original one.
